Conventional & Implant-Supported Dentures

Stable, Secure Full Arch Restoration at Astha

Conventional dentures slip, restrict what you eat and can feel like a daily reminder of tooth loss. Implant-supported dentures change everything — anchored securely to titanium implants, they stay firmly in place whether you are eating, speaking or laughing. At Astha Dental Solutions, full and partial implant-supported prostheses are designed and fitted by Dr. (Prof.) Sumi Chandra (Prosthodontist) and Dr. (Prof.) Chetan Chandra (Implantologist) — working together to deliver a complete solution from implant placement to final prosthetic fitting, all under one specialist roof in Lucknow.

Why Choose Astha Dental Solutions?

How it Works

Full arch assessment

Bone density, jaw structure and existing teeth are assessed using Digital X-Ray. Both doctors collaborate to plan the ideal implant positions and prosthetic design for your case.

Implant placement

Two to four implant fixtures are placed in the jawbone at strategic positions — providing maximum stability for the overlying denture with the minimum number of implants.

Healing phase

The implants integrate with the bone over 8–12 weeks. A temporary prosthesis may be provided during this period so you are never without teeth.

Final denture fitting

Your custom-made implant-supported denture is fitted and adjusted to your precise bite — delivering stability, comfort and a natural appearance from day one.

Before After Results

What is the difference between conventional dentures and implant-supported dentures?

Conventional dentures rest on the gum surface and can shift during eating or speaking. Implant-supported dentures are anchored to implants in the jawbone, providing the stability and security of fixed teeth while remaining removable for cleaning.

How many implants are needed to support a full denture?
Typically 2–4 implants per jaw are sufficient to anchor an implant-supported denture. The exact number depends on your bone density and jaw structure — your specialist will confirm after assessment.

Can I eat normally with implant-supported dentures?
Yes — significantly better than with conventional dentures. The implant anchorage provides the stability needed to eat most foods comfortably, including those that conventional denture wearers typically avoid.

Are treatments painful?

Most treatments are comfortable due to modern anesthesia techniques.

Do you treat children?

Yes, we provide pediatric dental care for children.
